Why not run the AFK client on your own computer?

There are three reasons to stay AFK in Minecraft. First, the login queue: on servers like 2b2t the regular queue runs for hours and can stretch into days when the server is full, and one dropped connection puts you at the back of it. Second, automatic farms: an iron golem farm, a Nether-portal gold farm or a guardian farm only produces while its chunks are ticking, which means someone has to sit inside simulation distance. Third, servers that kick idle players and need the connection held open.

Doing that on your own computer means leaving it running for days. A power cut, a router reboot or a Windows update stops the farm and sends you back to the end of the queue. A VDS runs on redundant power and redundant networking, which removes all three risks.

The good news is that with the right tool this is light work. Headless clients never load Minecraft's render engine and speak the protocol directly: ZenithProxy documents roughly 300 MB per instance in its own repository, and mineflayer on the Node.js side is in the same class. A full client with a window will not run on these plans: Mojang's published minimum now asks for a Vulkan 1.3 capable GPU with at least 2 GB of VRAM, and our VDS plans have no dedicated GPU. If you need in-client tools built on Fabric or NeoForge want a real desktop session.

Queue and reconnects

Wait out the queue with your computer off

Your server runs in a data centre on redundant power and networking. Because it is independent of your home connection, a router reboot or a power cut will not drop you from the queue. Headless tools bring modules like AutoReconnect and AutoRespawn for the moment a connection breaks, and running the client under screen or systemd means closing your SSH session changes nothing.

Headless client

No render engine, no GPU needed

Tools like ZenithProxy and mineflayer never start Minecraft's render engine; they speak the protocol directly. With no GPU, desktop environment or X server in the picture, even the smallest plan carries one account comfortably. You complete the Microsoft sign-in once through the device code flow and cache the token on the server.

Several Minecraft accounts running on one server

Alt accounts

Hold several accounts on one server

The server is entirely yours, so you can run as many processes as you like. The limit is their combined memory use. Each bot keeps its own world state and loaded chunks in memory, so memory grows with the number of alts. Upgrade from the client panel and move to the new resources after a short restart.

Low latency

Istanbul location, steady ping

Our servers sit in the Datacasa data centre in Istanbul and answer game servers in Turkey within 5 to 20 ms. On servers that kick idle players, and against anti-AFK plugins that watch for movement, a steady connection is the difference between staying in and queueing again.

Choosing a plan

How many accounts will you keep connected?

The table assumes the server runs headless clients only. If you also want to host your own Minecraft server on it, look at our game server plans.

  • recommended
    ENT-1 1 account, headless
    Hardware
    2 vCPU · 2 GB DDR4 ECC · 30 GB NVMe
    Note
ZenithProxy lists roughly 250 MB per instance as the minimum for its Linux build

  • ENT-2 2 to 4 alts, headless
    Hardware
    2 vCPU · 4 GB DDR4 ECC · 40 GB NVMe
    Note
Four instances on the Linux build want about 1 GB, with the operating system on top
    Monthly ₺240 Buy now
  • ENT-3 5 to 10 alts
    Hardware
    4 vCPU · 6 GB DDR4 ECC · 60 GB NVMe
    Note
Ten instances on the Linux build come to about 2.5 GB, leaving the rest to the system

  • ENT-5 5-10 alts · Java channel
    Hardware
    8 vCPU · 10 GB DDR4 ECC · 100 GB NVMe
    Note
ZenithProxy's Java channel wants roughly 600 MB per instance, so ten instances make 6 GB

Every plan includes a 10 Gbps uplink, DDR4 ECC memory and NVMe SSD storage. You can upgrade mid-month.

Server options

Two processor families

Headless clients are light, so the Xeon Enterprise line is more than enough. The Premium line makes sense if you also host players on the same machine.
